Looking for an intimate elopement in Oregon? You cannot beat the views on a sun-filled day on the Oregon Coast - and Meena lodge adds an elevated luxury experience for your closest family and friends. When Elise with Keen Events reached out to me about this styled elopement, at first I was hesitant—creating coastal or beach themed invitation suites and signage without feeling "cheesy" is something I struggle to find balance with. Initially, I started just with the color palette, until Elise shared a layered menu inspiration photo with me and my immediate thought was "I am going to do this, but make it an oyster". I have seen such amazing designs in recent years from Stationers using embossed oysters in invites or day of goods and they add a modern touch, while also remaining true to the environment around the venue. I opted for the more simple outline of an oyster, to keep the reference subtle, and I am so pleased with how they turned out! The oyster shape was also carried over to the RSVP card, while keeping the rest of the suite more simple and modern.
Working with an amazing team on this day created some real magic—the florals were simple, but elegant and organic, and the couple was the absolute picture of romance (and yes, they are a real couple)! Seeing the photos from the beach ceremony setup made me honor how beautiful the Oregon Coast can be, and how special it is to live in the PNW.
